Fonts Created for Brand and Special Usage Requirements

In the case of newspapers, a proprietary font can become their identity. MITPL offers services for making customised as well as customised proprietary fonts. MITPL also designs software and fonts for special languages or scripts that are not currently supported by Shree-Lipi.

Customer-Choice Fonts
Fonts can be created based on the customer’s selected style or requirement.
Text Font Support
Custom text fonts can be created for scripts supported by MITPL.

Font Development Process

From Artwork to Final Font Delivery

After the customer supplies the artwork to MITPL, it is digitized, normalized, smoothened, encoded, and made typographically correct at the character level. A proof copy of the font-in-process is submitted to the customer for approval. The font is then corrected as per feedback received, if any, and the final font is submitted to the customer.

Artwork Submission
Customer supplies the artwork to MITPL.
Digitization
The artwork is digitized for font creation.
Normalization & Smoothening
The font artwork is normalized and smoothened.
Encoding
The font is encoded as part of the development process.
Typography Correction
The font is made typographically correct at the character level.
Proof Approval
A proof copy is submitted to the customer for approval.
Final Delivery
The font is corrected as per feedback and submitted to the customer.
